Martina McBride Lancaster reviews
One of the greats
"I enjoyed the Martina McBride concert so much. I was her pianist for 4 years from 1980 to 1984 and have heard her many times. I found how animated yet relaxed she was to be exceptional. She was rarely move from center stage when I played with her. On Saturday, she was in motion most of the time. The superb song choices quickly gave us those famous tunes with great care, with the old favorites sewn into medleys. I loved the Mancini medley. Her closing number, "Let The Good Times Role," surprised and delighted me. I really liked her current closer much more than "I Will Survive," which we used to close with. Martina's technical facility and emotional quality are unmatched by any singer. Kudos, Martina, and much love."
